The Clover Park Timberwolves will head out on the road to face off against the Bremerton Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bremerton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Clover Park, who comes in off a win.
Even though Clover Park has not done well against Franklin Pierce recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Clover Park simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Franklin Pierce 59-25 at home. Clover Park has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 33 points or more this season.
Kamila Salanoa was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mekaia Williams, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Bremerton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 52-41 to Olympic. That's two games in a row now that Bremerton has lost by exactly 11 points.
Clover Park pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Bremerton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
