Monte Vista Christian was led to victory by Nico Downie and Braden Dobler. Downie scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Dobler dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Matteo Vidal, who scored 12 points.
Monte Vista Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Pajaro Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
