Clairemont fell to Hoover 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alessandro Baldassarre was a bright spot for the Chieftains, as he ran for 83 yards in the loss.
University City made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,550 from 9,752. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-14 victory over the Centurions last week.
Jordan Narramore put up the best numbers through the air as Coronado fell to La Jolla. He finished with 6 completions for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. Narramore's favorite target this week was Austin Rumbo, who caught 2 passes for 61 yards.
Leading Central in both passing and receiving yards, Christian's Michael Carrillo and Kai Arvan have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Carrillo has thrown for 1,363 yards this season, while Arvan has 20 catches for 417 yards. Clairemont's Alex Beaubien leads the league in rushing yards with 335.
