The National Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to King's Christian Academy 65-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Diallo Long, who scored 25 points along with two steals for King's Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Long has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Waller, who scored 11 points.
National Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for King's Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. National Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grace Brethren Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calverton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calverton is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
