There's no place like home for the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road back in December of 2023. Everything went their way against Flint River Academy on Monday as Trinity Christian School of Griffin made off with a 45-20 win. That's another feather in the cap for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Flint River Academy saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Goldston scored ten points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goldston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Mask, who scored three points along with ten rebounds.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Flint River Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian School of Griffin will take on Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Flint River Academy, they will be playing at home against LaGrange Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
