The Continental Pirates will take on the Tinora Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Continental sitting on six straight victories and Tinora on four.
On Friday, Continental made easy work of Pettisville and carried off an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Gracie Homier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
