Desert Edge and Prescott played the most contested game in III Section VII this week, with Desert Edge eventually emerging with a 21-19 victory. Anthony Hernandez threw for 405 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.

Salsberry was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 238 yards on 32 carries as Shadow Ridge topped the Badgers. Gabe Jordan also contributed to the rushing game with 41 yards on the ground.
Desert Edge's Hernandez and Marks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading III Section VII in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Hernandez has thrown for 938 yards this season, while Marks has 26 catches for 571 yards. Salsberry from Rico Tipton's team leads the league in rushing with 352 yards.
Buckeye led the league in scoring this week after putting up 39 points on Casa Grande. Art Bojorquez threw for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 19 yards in the win.
