She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sommer Swanson, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Athens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Berkley only managed one hit.
The victory made it two in a row for Athens and bumps their season record up to 8-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Berkley, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-19-1.
