Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Mays Raiders walked away with it. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 65-7 victory over Loganville. Winning may never get old, but Mays sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Mays pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.4 points per game. As for Loganville, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Mays will square off against Cass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Cass is ranked 82nd, while Mays is ranked 61st). Loganville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
