In what's become a running theme this season, George Washington gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Denver West Cowboys  a   10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what George Washington needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
 Their offense was hitting Denver West from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. 
 MaiLei Garcia led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
 George Washington's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-5. As for Denver West, they dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 George Washington will  challenge Lincoln at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Denver West, they will head out on the road to  take on  Regis Groff at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
