Given Oakland's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Warriors are ranked 233rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Isaac Johnson had a dynamite game for Oakland, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds. Johnson continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Chapple, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Oakland's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for McClymonds, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.
