Gladstone had won two straight games and Lillie Johnson did her part to make it three on Monday. The Gladstone Braves breezed past the Sault Area Blue Devils to the tune of 68-36 with plenty of help from Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Gladstone's points.

Eva Pankonien was another key player, putting up 15 points. What's more, she also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Gladstone's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Sault Area, they moved to 17-6 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Gladstone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-31 victory against Fremont on the 12th. Sault Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
