The St. George's Gryphons lost against the Northpoint Christian Trojans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. George's took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northpoint Christian.
Several Gryphons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amir Wilson, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Farris, who scored eight points.
St. George's now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Northpoint Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
St. George's will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Harding Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Harding Academy will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Northpoint Christian will take on First Assembly Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
