Having just played yesterday, the Central City Value Jaguars will jump right back in to play the Monroe Vikings at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Central City Value focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday.
On Monday, Central City Value suffered a tough 69-44 loss at the hands of Triumph Charter. Central City Value was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-22.
Despite the loss, Central City Value got a solid performance out of Angel Marcial, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The game was Marcial's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Walter Gonzalez, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Monroe in a 50-35 victory over East College Prep on Monday. The victory was just what Monroe needed coming off of a 97-41 loss in their prior matchup.
This is the second loss in a row for Central City Value and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
