Santaluces got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trent Nixon out in front who scored 9 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Decarious Jenkins, who scored 13 points along with 5 assists.
Benjamin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Santaluces, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Benjamin won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Atlantic Christian at 1:30 p.m. on November 25th. As for Santaluces, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Palm Beach Lakes at 3:00 p.m.
