Central pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 63-56 to Scotlandville.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Catholic-B.R. had to settle for a 41-39 loss against the Patriots on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Catholic-B.R. has scored all season.
Central's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-6. As for Catholic-B.R., they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
Central and the Bears were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but the Wildcats came up empty-handed after a 44-43 defeat.
