The biggest upset of the week belonged to San Bernardino, who took down 615th ranked Arroyo Valley, 28-22. SonnyBoy Orfiano threw for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
The Cardinals moved up to 775 from 842 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in San Andreas. San Bernardino climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Hawks 28-22.
Tahir Rasheed-Mills was a passing and rushing force as San Gorgonio topped Carter. He completed 5 passes for 127 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 193 yards.
He went 13-19 with 0 interceptions.
Keon Stephens was the best receiver in the league this week as Jeff Imbriani's team defeated Arroyo Valley. Stephens racked up 3 receptions for 95 yards. Dominick Salter helped San Bernardino's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 75 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Javone Morgan of Rialto is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,810. He has also thrown 18 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Stephens. The San Bernardino star has 41 catches for 762 yards.
Going into this week's game against the Cardinals, the Knights' Morgan needs 190 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
Next week's game between Rialto and San Bernardino will feature a good passing match up as Morgan will test his arm against Stephens' defensive ability.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Tony DiThomas' team takes on the Spartans. At the moment, the Hawks are in fifth, while San Gorgonio is in first.
Adding to the longest winning streak in San Andreas this week, Ron Gueringer's team beat the Lions 59-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Spartans.
