Meanwhile, Constitution waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They skirted past Springfield 48-45. Given Constitution's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Springfield is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Perry Fields continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Amir Speights, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Martin Luther King's record is now 7-8. As for Constitution, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Martin Luther King have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Constitution struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Thankfully for Martin Luther King, Jacob Beccles (who scored 31 points along with three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
