The Mukwonago Indians lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Arrowhead 61-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mukwonago has scored all season.
Arrowhead's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natlie Kussow, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Kussow is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Gilmore, who scored 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Mukwonago's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Arrowhead, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
Mukwonago will be playing at home against Waukesha North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arrowhead, they will head out on the road to challenge Nazareth Academy at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
