After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spanish River, Boca Raton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Suncoast Chargers with a sharp 14-1 victory. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Julie Lowe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Audrey Brandao was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kate Ivanik, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
