Markesan had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past the Wild Rose Wildcats 48-23. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Markesan pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Wild Rose, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-6.
