 On the hitting side,  Adam Weiss and  Alex Landau stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Weiss  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Landau  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. That  stolen base was  Landau's first of the season.
Saratoga Springs' defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Averill Park,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga Springs will host Shenendehowa  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Averill Park, they will welcome South Glens Falls  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
