Waterloo is a perfect 4-0 against East Alton-Wood River since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Aidan Dintelman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ava Brown was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Grayce Mayer was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-5.

Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Waterloo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .389. However, it's not like East Alton-Wood River struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
