MICDS won the last time they faced Benton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rams walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Cardinals.

MICDS has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Benton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Benton has already played their next game, a 9-3 victory against Lincoln College Prep on the 21st. Hopefully MICDS paid attention to the Cardinals' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cardinals on Saturday.
