After flying high against Valley on Saturday, Beulah came back down to earth. The Bobcats fell 7-3 to the Smiths Station Panthers on Saturday. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Beulah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madyson Snedigar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Claire Dubose was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Beulah now has a losing record of 15-16-1. As for Smiths Station, their victory bumped their record up to 8-19-1.

Beulah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Opelika on the 19th. As for Smiths Station, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-3 loss against Pike Road on the 22nd.
