The Prague Red Devils lost against the Wewoka Tigers back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Prague took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wewoka. While losing is never fun, Prague can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Wewoka is ranked 69th).
Leading Wewoka to victory were Timber Carter and Awtumn Sipes-Louie. Carter dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Sipes-Louie scored 20 points along with five steals. Carter hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne Hill, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Prague's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Wewoka, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prague will take on Holdenville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wewoka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
