Upton/Sundance simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Southeast 68-9. That result was just more of the same for Upton/Sundance, who also won the last time these teams played.
Upton/Sundance's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 54 first-half points. Meanwhile, Southeast couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 54-0 heading into the break. The Upton/Sundance defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped Upton/Sundance's record up to 6-1. Southeast are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Upton/Sundance take on Pine Bluffs at 5:30 PM. Unlike Upton/Sundance, Pine Bluffs will be limping in after taking a loss. Southeast will take on Wright at home at 7:00 PM.
