Last Tuesday, Calexico was able to grind out a solid win over Imperial, taking the game 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Calexico had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.
Meanwhile, Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Southwest EC on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted against the Eagles since March 23, 2023.
