The Park View Patriots will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Rock Ridge Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Park View earned a 43-34 victory over the Captains.
It was another big night for Anna Helstrom, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Kyra Hurley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Even though Rock Ridge has not done well against the Titans recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Rock Ridge sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 victory over the Titans.
Park View's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Rock Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Things could have been worse for Park View, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-26 loss to the Phoenix in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
