The Maple Hill Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Glens Falls Black Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Maple Hill will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Watervliet on Wednesday. The Wildcats blew past the Cannoneers 15-5. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Madison Camadine made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off 11 hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Olivia Mueller was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Sydney Rogers was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Glens Falls waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Bulldogs.
Isabella Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Glens Falls' victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Darielle Gooden, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.
Glens Falls' win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Maple Hill, their record is now 13-5.
