They came out on top in a nail-biter against the East Islip Redmen, sneaking past  2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  13-5  back in April.

She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out ten over eight innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
