Last Saturday, Fern Creek suffered a tough 59-35 defeat at the hands of Pleasure Ridge Park. Fern Creek has struggled against Pleasure Ridge Park recently, as their game on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 76-58 bruising from Owensboro Catholic. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Fern Creek has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.
Fern Creek took a serious blow against Central when the teams last played back in February of 2020, falling 81-21. Can Fern Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
