Iona Prep had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Somers Tuskers to the tune of 37-7 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Gaels sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row dating back to last season.

Iona Prep had a senior duo take command as Julian Guzman threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns and Crew Davis gained 171 total yards and a touchdown.

Iona Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 58-48 victory against Paramus Catholic on the 12th. As for Somers, they have also already played their next game, a 17-7 loss against Rye on the 12th.
