After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dixie Heights, the Villa Madonna Vikings were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They blew past St. Patrick 66-26 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Villa Madonna has managed all season.
Villa Madonna got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Henry Thole out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Thomas, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Villa Madonna's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for St. Patrick, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
Villa Madonna will take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Patrick, they will head out on the road to square off against the Black Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
