Everything went their way against the Thornton Trojans as the Smoky Hill Buffaloes made off with a 3-0 win. Smoky Hill's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Thornton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Smoky Hill will host Grandview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thornton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss vs. Stargate School on the 13th.
