Two dominant  signal callers in  Mario Gallo and  Magnus Merriman are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors will venture away from home to  take on the Viewpoint Patriots  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. On Friday, Desert Christian Academy blew past Hamilton, posting  a  51-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Conquerors, who have now won seven matchups by 24  points or more  so far this season.

Desert Christian Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Judah Garrison out in front who picked up 88 receiving yards and two  TDs. Garrison was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards.  Eusebio Gallo was in the mix  too, providing Desert Christian Academy with two scores.
 Desert Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 210  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 153  rushing yards in four consecutive  games.
 Desert Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Mauro Pazos led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
 Meanwhile,  Viewpoint played a tough  contest  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Rio Hondo Prep 41-10. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Kares: they've now lost six in a row.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Viewpoint  fell to 7-1. As for Desert Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
