The Pine-Richland Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Fox Chapel Foxes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pine-Richland will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Pine-Richland not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 7, 2025 (when they won 12-2). They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over North Allegheny. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jayse Grilli looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Kyler Bell was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Cwynar, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Pine-Richland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Fox Chapel sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over Shaler Area on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Foxes.
Joey Geller was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Geller was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.
In other pitching news, Noah Hughes looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Milan Fluhme and Elias George did most of the damage at the plate: Fluhme went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while George went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that Fluhme has scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Krushinski, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
The victory got Fox Chapel back to even at 2-2. As for Pine-Richland, their record now sits at 3-1.
Fox Chapel's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pine-Richland has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .446.
