Platte County might be getting used to good results now that the squad have four wins in a row. Last Friday, they won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Raymore-Peculiar 36-35. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Winnetonka lost to Smithville, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 13-48. Winnetonka were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-35.
Everything went Platte County's way against Winnetonka the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 42-14 victory.
