Northwest came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Alliance Bulldogs. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Ava Janulewicz paced Northwest's offense, picking up nine kills. Janulewicz got some help from Kenna Bowman and her 17 assists. Halle Rice controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Alliance, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stevens on the 3rd. As for Alliance, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sidney on the 3rd.
