Round Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tonopah Muckers. One positive for the Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Round Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Tonopah, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Round Mountain and Carlin will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tonopah, they will be taking part in a tournament against Beatty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
