Mason Lyerla posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because Cobden is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Lyerla and Cobden will take on Pope County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
