The College Prep of America Thunder lost against the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. College Prep of America took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Unity Christian Academy.
College Prep of America's loss came despite strong showings from Fatima Iqbal and Sehrish Pandit. Iqbal dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Pandit dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Pandit hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games.
College Prep of America has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Unity Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
College Prep of America will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Islamic Foundation at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Unity Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Grant Park at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Grant Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday.
