Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They were a single  goal away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Herriman Mustangs. The  contest was a  0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Mountain Ridge couldn't quite close it out.
Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Herriman, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Ridge will  square off against  rival Riverton  at 3:30  p.m.  on April 9. Meanwhile, Herriman is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Corner Canyon  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
