There's no place like home for Ruidoso, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Socorro 12-0 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Ruidoso, who have now won four contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Carson Stratton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Stratton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Ruidoso: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Andres Marmolejo was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Mason Fikany, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Ruidoso always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ruidoso's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Socorro, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ruidoso has already played their next matchup, a 28-5 victory against Bosque on the 31st. As for Socorro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Hot Springs on the 31st.
