Bellevue Christian got a great performance from Dayton Rogers as he pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Rogers has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Luke Evenson was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Mason Hill was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Charles Wright hit Seattle Christian with a eight-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors lost 13-0 to the Tarriers. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Tarriers: they've now lost eight in a row.
Seattle Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Hilburn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Bellevue Christian's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Seattle Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
