Basketball Recap: Tremell Jackson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Morse

After losing to Morse the last time they met, Crawford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crawford Colts came out on top against the Morse Tigers by a score of 60-50 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Crawford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tremell Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Jackson a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Mickelson Laguerre, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Morse's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayren Sunico, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobi Palpallactoc, who earned nine points and five boards.

Crawford's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Morse, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.

Crawford will square off against Rock Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crawford is facing Rock Academy at the right time seeing as Rock Academy is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Morse, they will challenge Clairemont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Morse is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.
