Archbold is 7-2 against Bryan since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Archbold Blue Streaks will head out on the road to face off against the Bryan Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Archbold knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Bryan likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Archbold at home against Patrick Henry as the squad secured a 59-22 win. The result was nothing new for Archbold, who have now won seven games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Bryan was just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 27-26 to Wauseon.
Archbold has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in eight of their first nine matches, giving them a 8-1 record. As for Bryan, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 5-4.
Archbold strolled past Bryan when the teams last played back in September of 2022 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archbold since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
