Baseball Recap: Berwyn/Cicero Morton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Berwyn/Cicero Morton let Johangel Castrillo and Alejandro Guzman run wild. Castrillo went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Guzman went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Castrillo a new career-high. Gabriel Herrera was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Addison Trail, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-8.
