Almond-Bancroft had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They fell just short of Fall River by a score of 6-8. If Almond-Bancroft were hoping for some payback for the 21-30 loss against Fall River the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Almond-Bancroft off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Fall River a 1-0 record.
Next week, Almond-Bancroft take on Rio at 7:00 PM. As for Fall River, they will face of against Wild Rose. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
