Crest came out on top against Uniontown  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Lancers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  16-6 victory. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by nine  runs or more this season.
 Drake Weir was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jensen Barker was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run and five  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March of 2024.  Kole Walter was another key player,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
Crest pushed their record up to 17-9 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Uniontown,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-9.
As of now, neither Crest nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
